The Curio collection launched in 2014 as part of a global portfolio of more than 40 upscale hotels and resorts handpicked for their unique character and personality but still within the Hilton family. The West Hotel is perfectly located beside Darling Harbour and Barangaroo with Pitt St Mall only a short walk away.

A highlight of this swanky hotel is their atrium, it’s a stunning open-air garden with luscious botanics and fairy lights. I can only describe it as where the jungle meets the city, it’s the perfect escape from busy city life to drink, work or relax. Another stand-out is the West Hotel's sleek and attractive architecture, their lobby is effortlessly breathtaking but still maintains that boutique hotel feel. I'm happy to report that from the moment we arrived, the friendly and attentive concierge / reception staff were so welcoming to guests.

The real unique element of the West Hotel’s summer package is the beautiful floral installation by The Hunted Yard and perfectly paired bedding by Bonnie and Neil. It’s unlike anything I’ve ever experienced before, it has all the perks of sleeping under a canopy of flowers without the outdoor deterrents. There’s an element of serenity that comes with it, it doesn’t feel like you’re in the middle of Sydney CBD anymore. Plus, to add some more sparkle to an already amazing package you receive two full-sized rejuvenating Biology skincare products to take home with you. What a sweet deal!

Believe me, I’ve heard a lot of buzz about their new street-level restaurant Solander Bar & Dining. You're welcomed by a relaxed yet sophisticated atmosphere, set amongst velvet seats and a stunning marble bar! Named after the first fleet botanist Daniel Solander, it so fittingly serves modern Australian fare with a sustainable food philosophy that supports the very best regional and seasonal produce in New South Wales. Plus as part of their Summer of Gin, Solander is offering bespoke Archie Rose Gin inspired food and cocktails that are such a treat.
