Ralph and Russo's Portrait Of A Woman

A portrait of a woman, the unique ability to capture one's personality and soul through photography and couture is the fitting inspiration of Ralph & Russo's Autumn Winter 2017 / 2018 collection. Creative director Tamara Ralph brings to life the natural beauty and sense of identity captured by photography's grand masters Richard Avedon, Cecil Beaton and Norman Parkinson. Enthused by light and animation, this season’s palette is iridescent; a flash of ice mints and pearlescent lavenders, aqua blue double satins and crystal mesh in rose-gold hues. Embroidery is crystallised like a photograph in time, whilst motion is captured in the movement of devoréd white feathers, fluid draping, floor sweeping trains, ribbons of metallic chainmail and wide leg trouser suits.
