Fiji Fashion Week Resort Show 2015

Welcome to fashion in paradise. FJFW is an annual event now happening twice a year in both Fiji's capital city Suva and the tropical oasis of Denarau Island. Set up in the Sofitel Denarau's grand ballroom, a row of white roses lined the beautiful wood-weaved runway - it couldn't be more perfect. Big name sponsors, government dignitaries and overseas guests like yours truly sat front row, it was a night to remember. The clothes themselves were made to be worn on the islands, it's everything you want to pack for a tropical holiday and more. Full of flowing silks, sparkling embellishments, popping prints and summery separates, it was a pleasure to see Fijian icons like Robert Kennedy and Hupfeld Hoerder back to showcase their new designs. A favourite of mine was NVMI, where every piece on the runway was reversible from bikinis to dresses, an ideal concept for any frequent traveller.
