Karen Walker's SS14 NYFW Utopia

Karen Walker is fast becoming every budding fashionistas must-have designer in their wardrobe, being able to attend her coveted New York Fashion Week RTW show was a dream come true. Held at the iconic Pier 59 Studios, nobody was paying attention to the stunning water views with Karen's designs walking the catwalk. Urban, feminine, tom boyish, boho prep and ultimately a to die for and versatile collection that took inspiration from a surprising culture. Calling it Krishna-Style, Karen loved that the Hare Krishna's have mastered an amazing mix of traditional Eastern utility and modern Western utility. From beanies, classic bags and it scarves to printed silks, cosy knits and statement jackets, it was most definitely an everyday fashion Utopia in the middle of New York City.
