Desigual's Vibrant NYFW Spring 2014 Runway

Colorful, flirty, playful and fun, Desigual was what one can only call a New York Fashion Week extravaganza. A giant runway party with all the fabulous energy of a Victoria Secret runway show minus the lingerie. Exploding in bright colours, retro prints, flowing silks, casual classics, structured coats and mod dresses, it was a vibrant collection filled with glowing faces that were just soaked up by the lens. Inspired by the Mediterranean sunshine, the warm mesmerising waters, the lush urban terrain and vibrant culture, Desigual perfectly embodied their motto of La Vida es Chula or Life Is Cool. For my first show at Lincoln Center for the season, Desigual quickly reminded me that I had indeed just landed on the international fashion playing field. What a show!
