Tommy Hilfiger Takes Us To The Caribbean This Spring 2016

Tommy Hilfiger's runways are always my favourite kind of extravaganza, taking us on an extraordinary journey to a fabulous destination unknown. His Spring 2016 NYFW show was no different and hands down my highlight of New York Fashion Week. Last Spring, Tommy took us on a trip back to the 70s golden era of woodstock and rocking cool chicks. This year, we took a Tom-cation to the Caribbean complete with a lagoon, island and beach bar. No sandy stone was left unturned from beach chairs and postcard invitations to palm trees and hammocks Tommy transformed Pier 36 and we left reality at the door. Keeping his American heritage style, it was happy colours and mapcap patterns. Classic silhouettes were electrified while tropical patchwork and vibrant stripes were energised to vibrant life. This coveted sun-kissed lineup was a nod to the new generations of globetrotters, an army of Hilfigers who dream to escape the hustle of city life. So soak up the relaxed island vibes - this was a show like no other. Tommy Hilifiger kindly took us with him to the islands and we never wanted to leave. Welcome to this wanderlust paradise.
