Busardi's Queen Of The Night Paris Show

Co-founded in 2009 by mother and son, Busardi and Tuck Muntarbhorn, Busardi was the first Thai label to show during Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week last season. An heir to fashion royalty in Thailand, his mother founded Yoswadee - Thailand’s oldest surviving fashion house. A semi-couture label, their latest Winter collection takes inspiration from the beautiful Queen of the Night flower which blooms only for an hour once a year in the dead of night. Playing on the theme of light vs darkness, Busardi's intricate collection follows the blooming sequence through colour and feel. Romantic and delicately embroidered dresses lead to a dark final piece before the flower silences itself for another year. A strongly thought-out show from this skilled Thai duo.
