SGFW Runway Report: Tex Saverio For Love Bonito, Zalora and Elohim x Dzojchen

Indonesian designer Tex Saverio collaborated with Singapore online store Love Bonito to create a runway ready capsule collection which debuted at Singapore Fashion Week. Internationally renowned Tex Saverio has been described as the Alexander McQueen of Asia famously creating Katniss's wedding dress for The Hunger Games film series. Having previously dressed the likes of Lady Gaga and Kim Kardashian, this accessible and wearable collection has brought us all a little closer to his stunningly detailed and couture creations.

Zalora's SGFW showcased their modest and elegant evening wear collections by in-house brands Zahlia and Woofiziwoo. Labelled the ASOS of Asia by those on the Asian fashion scene, this fast fashion retail powerhouse has quite the following for it's on-trend and sellout designs. Beautiful embellishments and flowing lines perfectly complemented the live string symphony that accompanied this glamourous runway show. With fresh roses and golden scrolls for guests lining the seats, it was a pleasure witnessing Zalora in action!

A combined show under the Fashion Futures series, Elohim by Sabrina Goh and Dzojchen's latest designs were fresh and modern. Inspired by structural forms, Sabrina Goh's contemporary fashion label Elohim mixes elements of menswear and womenswear while exploring symmetry vs asymmetry to create unexpected silhouettes. Now an established name, Dzojchen essence of the brand is individuality - finding balance from contradiction through refined cuts, classic styling and striking materials.
