MBFWA 2014 Runway Report: Jayson Brunsdon and Cameo
Sparkling sequins, bright colours, bold prints, neon feathers and beach babe hair - Jayson Brunsdon's latest MBFWA collection was Brazillian carnivale that transported us to directly to Rio. A stark contrast to his previous refined french collection, Jayson Brunsdon's youthful and colourful designs expressed a more liberated woman with all the vitality and flavour of the South Americas. It was fresh and full of life, like we were sipping cocktails on the balmy summer nights and partying beachside embracing ageless fashion and joyous individuality.
With a legion of fans already behind them Cameo is our go-to street style label, an Aussie brand that embraces trends and brings runway ready designs direct to our wallets at a much less devastating price. Cameo's most sought after silhouettes popped in black and white check, block colours, stripes and polished floral prints. It was so exciting to see this Adelaide-gone-global brand have it's very first solo show at MBFWA, plus with Samantha Harris making a coveted appearance it was bright lights and must-have separates that will fly off the shelves.
