Alice McCall's Dreamy MBFWA 2014 Collection

In my dreams we were flying... and that is exactly what Alice McCall did, transported us to a dream world of shimmering sparkles, soft sorbets and surreal prints. Bridging the gap between fantasy and reality McCall's new collection left our hearts a flutter with her soft and sweet colour palette giving way to strange yet maginifcent digital prints from US-based collages artists Beth Hocknel and Eugenia Loli. Sweetly flirtatious and expertly crafted, her feminine designs explored sweetheart rompers, scalloped hemlines, delicate frills, sheer tulle, sculpted silhouettes and fluted neoprene. Set amongst an other-worldly hanging artwork and with a final walk covered in falling snow, I felt as if I were at a tea party with Princess Grace beneath cherry blossoms - a real stand out at MBFWA to say the least!
