MBFWA: Why Hello ELLE Australia!

ELLE magazine made quite the entrance onto the Australian media stage at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia, closing the week in ultimate style. A slot that is expected to be the epitome of fashion week, it was indeed a major highlight. With a show worthy of an international stage, ELLE transformed the runway into an intimate party, filling the room with dining and cocktail tables where guests were treated to delicious canapes and champagne. Following a stellar performance  by Erika Heynatz, the collections that walked the catwalk included a recap of the weeks designs as well as SS13 pieces from not yet seen designers. One look per designer kept the runway fresh and the giant plasma screens lining the runway created a somewhat Victoria Secret fashion show party atmosphere.
