Easton Pearson's Victorious Return To SS13 MBFWA

A breath of fresh air, Easton Pearson's triumphant return to Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia showed us what we've been missing. Like a slow-moving Tim Burton film, Hyperreal was quirky, fun and showcased classic retro at its best. Taking cue from 1950s swing forms and super nature, this elegant collection flattered with femininity and wowed from head to toe. Full of luxurious textures, sequins, dramatic prints and shapes, matching yet mismatched elements and intense colour their Spring Summer 2013 / 2014 designs gave credence to their skill and craftsmanship. To put things simply it was a cinematic dream, rich in story and what I imagine to be Mrs Frankenstein's modern wardrobe curated by Tim Burton in shining technicolour. Easton Pearson unique style made this a night to remember!
