Aurelio Costarella's 30 Year Anniversary SS13 MBFWA Show

Aurelio Costarella's show at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia never fails to be an event to look forward to, his beautiful and complex gowns are always red carpet regulars. This collection was hallmark Aurelio, full of his trademark embellishments, waterfall draping, lightweight feathers, expert folding and intricate corsetry. Colourfully commissioned artworks by Waldemar Kolbusz served as backdrops to Aurelio's artistic couture designs while singer Grace Woodroofe performing live added to his sensory experience. Netted and embellished full face masks adorned his creations along with sequinned and textured hair pieces by Reny Kestel. Taking cue from the 1940s he leaves an air of romance, luxe and elegance while still holding true to the modern woman and his ability to flatter the female silhouette. Celebrating a remarkable 30 years in the fashion industry, this new Spring Summer 2013 / 2014 collection is truly testament to Aurelio Costarella's many years of success.
