Sass and Bide's AW13 Runway Stuns At London Fashion Week

Set in an old British church, my little fashion world exploded last night from all the glitz and glamour of a Sass and Bide LFW Show. With Olivia Palmero seated front row and my wardrobe filled with pieces that have walked down these exact runways, it was a strong show from the iconic Australian duo who hold a special place in my heart. Their grasp of structure and use of intricate detailing has forever stood them apart from the crowd, creating unique pieces which are not only wardrobe statements but wardrobe staples. Heidi Middleton and Sarah Jane-Clark's latest 'Wintergate' Autumn Winter 2013 collection leaves no question in our minds of their brilliance with everything from pops of yellow and futuristic metallics against tonal shades of black and white to bold lines, geometric cut-outs and panelling amidst their iconic capes, precise suiting, daring dresses and flowing trains. A collection that breathes elegance and edginess, Sass and Bide sees a sophisticated sheer and embellished textured landscape emerging from checked metals, plaited leather, wooden beading, woven raffia and fluid silks.
