Last night I was lucky enough to attend one of Vogue's night of nights! The opening gala for Sydney's Fashion Film Festival hosted by Vogue and Moet and Chandon. With celebrities mingling at every corner, canapes by Kenji and Moet and Chandon champagne being sipped in golden goblets it was everything a blogger could dream of and more. We were treated to the Australian premiere viewing of Bill Cunningham's New York. Not knowing much about Bill from the get-go, I was taken aback by this humble enigma and true fashion genius. Really this man has paved the way for bloggers today, he was the original street style photographer starting all the way back in the 1960s. Vogue Australia's new editor in chief Edwina McCann put it perfectly in her introduction quoting the iconic Anna Wintour: "We all get dressed for Bill". If you haven't seen this movie yet, I cannot properly convey how much of an absolute must-see it is. The gala event kicked off a three-day long festival where films such as Coco Chanel and Igor Stravinsky to Pretty Woman can be seen. In true Vogue style, when you purchase the only $20 ticket you'll also be treated to Moet and canapes on arrival. Hello perfection! Thank you to Vogue and Moet and Chandon for inviting me to come along and for putting on such a fabulous event!
