An Exclusive With Camilla of Camilla and Marc!

They're the dynamic Aussie brother/sister duo taking the international fashion stage by storm! Camilla and Marc's chic and modern designs were established in 2003 and have since grown exponentially, loved in Hollywood and revered by socialites at home they are quickly becoming the 'it' Aussie brand. I was lucky enough to catch the beautiful Camilla Freeman-Topper for a quick interview to ask her about the recent Spring Summer 2011 range in stores now! Ladies she even has a racing carnival favourite, imagine wearing a Camilla recommended dress for this Melbourne Cup!

Thanks so much for taking the time out of your night to chat with me. What was the inspiration behind your recent Spring Summer 2011 collection?

This collection is based on a journey through France actually, it's inspired by the beautiful French farmhouses and it's just all about the countryside. The stunning French countryside was spectacular and the perfect inspiration.

Wow, it sounds beautiful and really shows through this collection. What do you think of all the bright colours for this season? 

I think they’re relevant, I think they’re necessary and I think it makes people happy and excited.

Absolutely, I know I'm in love with them. Do you have a personal favourite from the new range?

I actually have a couple of favourites, the Cranberry Dress in silver which is popping and sort of sparkles - it's beautiful for the summer. Another is the Copper Tip Dress with green and navy stripes - it's easy for the day, the night and evening, really it's so versatile and particularly good for racing carnivals as well!
